According to Irina Yarovaya , this should not be left without attention: "Changes are needed in Russian legislation aimed at countering Russophobia."

 

“Russophobia is a new misanthropic ideology, and it is she who is being planted in the world. This ideology is designed to form aggression against our country, the citizens of Russia and the entire Russian world. Recent events show that Russophobia is acquiring new criminal and dangerous forms of manifestation,” said the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma.

 

Commenting on the decision of the International Criminal Court to issue an arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin and Maria Lvova-Belova, Irina Yarovaya stressed that the President and the Commissioner for Children's Rights have "special powers that directly ensure the guarantees and security of Russian citizens."

 

“And the decision to issue a warrant, although quasi-judicial, is still a kind of demonstration of intimidation for Russian citizens and an infringement on the safety of everyone,” Irina Yarovaya is sure.

 

“Undoubtedly, this decision should be qualified as an act of international terrorism directed against Russia and undermining the foundations of global security in the world. Russophobia as a dangerous crime should be introduced into the legislation,” said the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma.
