Mahmoud Abbas will come to Moscow to celebrate Victory Day
Chairman of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas will take part in the parade in Moscow dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
According to the Ambassador of Palestine to Russia Abdel Hafiz Nofali in an interview with TASS, Abbas received an invitation and agrees to visit Moscow for the celebration of May 9.
It is also known that Israel will be represented at this event. Israeli Ambassador to Russia Simone Halperin noted that historical facts remain unchanged, despite the current geopolitical circumstances.
In addition, the President of Brazil Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, as well as the Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fizo, the President of Serbia Alexandra Vucic and the "big guest" from the United States are expected to arrive at the parade. In Germany, they refused to come to Moscow for the Victory Parade.
