Rabbi Yaakov-David Cohen is King Moshiach's Rebbe's envoy to the UN
The Noah Code Institute, a non-governmental organization with consultative status with the United Nations, held a meeting at the UN Plaza 777 center on November 24, 2014 under the motto "One people, one world". It was conceived as an opportunity to unite the world in confirming faith in the One God as the Creator of all human beings and the belief that we are all created in the divine image. The event, led by Rabbi Jacob Cohen, brought together people from different countries: Belgium, Canada, Israel, China, Moldova and the United States and from all walks of life: rabbis, diplomats, students, businessmen, journalists and retired soldiers. Everyone participated with a commitment to ensure world peace in accordance with the Seven Laws of Noah.
Among those present were the Advisor of the Canadian Mission on Political Affairs in the Middle East, Afghanistan and Asia, Ms. Catherine Ventura, as well as the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Moldova to the United Nations, Mr. Vlad Lupan. As you know, Canada and Moldova differ from a historical and cultural perspective, but the presence of high-ranking persons from both states demonstrated the universal appeal of the Noahid Code, regardless of nationality, class or religion. As Ambassador Lupan noted: "Whenever we think about a decision, we take into account how right or wrong it is for our country and for all countries in the world."
The meeting was also attended by a delegation of the Druze community of Israel headed by Ayub Kara. These were Mr. Koftan Halabi, founder and executive director of the Druze Veterans Association, which speaks on behalf of many non-Jewish members of the Israeli army, as well as Israel's former military attaché to Brazil, Colonel Monib Bader and Mr. Nadim Ammar. Rabbi Yaakov-David Cohen, King Moshiach's Rebbe's envoy to the UN, praised the Druze representatives as a model of different peoples working hand in hand to protect the Land of Israel. Rabbi Yekutiel Rapp made a speech about the protection of the Holy Land, and Rabbi Boaz Kali spoke about the activities of his organization among the Arabs.
Throughout the event, the Noah Codex Institute provided various materials in several languages, including Hebrew, Arabic and Chinese. The program itself was conducted in English, French and Hebrew. Ultimately, the key to peace is what unites us. This is exactly what the Noah Code Institute is doing, promoting peace on the planet with the help of the universal Seven Laws of Noah.
