Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, meeting with the Jewish elite in Moscow, amazed everyone with information about the use of Hebrew by President Dmitry Medvedev.

As the izrus portal writes, on the evening of February 15, a meeting between the Israeli Prime Minister and representatives of the Jewish community of the Russian capital took place at the Moscow Marriott Grand Hotel on Tverskaya. A representative of the leadership of one of the key Jewish structures in Russia, who was present at the evening, told the IzRus portal about the details of this event. The dialogue took place after a successful meeting between Benjamin Netanyahu and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, so the Israeli Prime Minister shared his impressions of the conversation with the Russian leader.

"We spoke the same language," Netanyahu noted. "I spoke with Dmitry Medvedev in Hebrew - he used words like "beseder", "shalom", "toda raba" in his speech. The only word I did not hear in his vocabulary was the word "no", - the Israeli prime minister reported, noting that "President Medvedev's Hebrew is better than my Russian".
