In a previous article , we mentioned that six thousand years corresponds to six days of the week. The day, according to the Torah, begins in the evening, so the second half of the sixth millennium corresponds to Friday afternoon, the time of preparation for the Sabbath. In 5750 (1990) the last quarter of the sixth millennium began, which corresponds to Friday afternoon, i.e. the time when the onset of the Sabbath is extremely close and tangible. At this time, you should already avoid various activities not directly related to the Sabbath, this is the time when they change everyday clothes for Shabbat.

Before the advent of 5750, the Lubavitcher Rebbe SHLITA announced that this would be a year of miracles and explained that the miracles of that year (mass exodus of Jews from the USSR, democratic revolutions in the Warsaw Pact countries, etc.) are directly related to the revelation of King Moshiach. The Rebbe also drew attention to the fact that 5750 marked forty years after the departure of the previous Rebbe in 5710 (1950) and the beginning of the leadership of the Rebbe King Moshiach. The Rebbe said that these forty years correspond to the forty years that, after the Exodus from Egypt, the Jews spent in the desert, before entering the Holy Land. Like the generation of the desert, our generation. it also took forty years to receive special spiritual powers and be ready to realize that we are already on the verge of real and complete Liberation.

It is interesting to note that the Rebbe wore a wool coat throughout the week, and a silk one on Saturdays and holidays, following the injunction of Kabbalah to wear silk clothes on Saturdays. From 5750, the Rebbe began to constantly, even on weekdays, wear a silk frock coat - Shabbat clothes!

On the 7th of Elul 5751 (8.08.1991) on Saturday, on which the weekly chapter “Shoftim” is read, where the commandment to listen to the prophet is given, the Rebbe King Moshiach announced that he, the head of our generation, is a prophet, and instructed to disseminate information throughout the world about the need to obey the instructions of the prophet and believe all his words, especially the prophecy that "here he is Moshiach comes." In the same conversation, the Rebbe explained that King Moshiach himself would be a great prophet, and he would be rewarded with prophecy even before the Liberation, being the head of the generation during the exile.

According to Jewish law, a prophet is considered a righteous and deeply knowledgeable Jew who claims that the Almighty transmits through him the news of any forthcoming non-trivial events in the near future; if these prophecies are continually being fulfilled, we are bound to recognize him as a prophet, and we are forbidden to doubt his words.

Rebbe SHLITA King Moshiach uttered a series of prophecies that came true with amazing accuracy. He predicted the victory of the Israeli army in the Six Day War a week and a half before the start of the war and asked that his words be published everywhere.

Already in 1967, the Rebbe foresaw the fall of the communist regime, and in 1987 he called on the Israeli government to begin preparations for accepting a large number of repatriates from the USSR. He also warned that the construction of new housing estates and employment centers would be required.

During the Gulf War (1991), the Rebbe repeatedly repeated in his speeches that Israel is the safest place in the world and there is no need for gas masks. When a putsch broke out in the USSR in 1991, and Chabadniks, who had come from the United States and Israel to work in children's camps, asked the Rebbe whether to leave the USSR, the Rebbe ordered them to stay where they were and quietly continue their work.

The above cases are only a small part of the Rebbe's fulfilled prophecies, both for the public and private individuals.

Hundreds of thousands of people turn to the Rebbe for advice and blessings, among them Jews and not only, ordinary people and world-famous politicians (almost all prime ministers of Israel).

In 1998, more than 200 rabbis from various denominations of Judaism issued a "psak din" (decree) that, according to Torah law, the Rebbe is a prophet and King Moshiach.
