Israel is a future member of the Asian Development Bank
Joining ADB will also allow Israel to collaborate with Asian institutions on joint research projects, especially in the medical field.
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is a development bank established in the Asian region that operates similarly to that of the World Bank. In the coming months, Israel plans, with God's help, to complete its entry into the bank after several years of preparation under the Ministry of Economy in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Her meetings with senior ADB officials and representatives of participating countries were aimed at developing the future cooperation of Asian countries with Israel in such areas as the development of water resources, agriculture, and renewable energy sources. In this context, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) is the gateway for economic access to the Middle East and Africa. Participation in the ADB will allow Israel to strengthen its strategic importance in the region, expand its export markets, strengthen its position in such key sectors as transport, energy and communications, and also gain access to additional investments for the implementation of its own innovative projects.
ADB promotes various platforms for the development of mutual understanding and various countries of this region. Joining ADB will also allow Israel to collaborate with Asian institutions on joint research projects, especially in the medical field.
In general, participation in ADB will allow Israel to play, with God's help, an even more active role in shaping the future of a sustainable world economy, in which the Asian Development Bank will be an ideal platform for Israel to secure its positions in the region in the future, as well as allow further diversification of foreign economic activity, in addition to cooperation with the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Inter-American Development Bank and the ASEAN Infrastructure Investment Bank.
