Scandal in the Moscow Jewish community. On July 6, the Chief Rabbi of Moscow Pinchas Goldshmidt announced that he was leaving his post. The thing is that Goldschmidt refused to submit to the pressure of the Russian authorities and come out in support of the war in Ukraine. The rabbi left the country. Now the state and the special services that look after the believers are imposing on the community the only rabbi who supported both the government and the special operation - Shlom Zlotsky.
