On October 1, 2022, a creative evening dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the ethnographer, historian and warrior, the founder of the ideology of Eurasianism - Lev Gumilyov was held in the Hall of Generals of the main military history museum of the country. The event was organized by the movement "New Eurasia", the Eurasian Center. Lev Gumilyov and the Eurasian Way Foundation within the framework of the Victory Museum Project “Art Was My Weapon”. More than 200 like-minded people gathered - representatives of different peoples of Russia, Eurasia, of different ages, religions, united by respect for the brilliant man - Lev Gumilyov, and interest in the great heritage of his era.
In the solemn interior of the Victory Museum, every detail reminded those present of the thorns through which the united people had to go in the name of truth, light and the great joy of peaceful life. The bronze great commanders looked at their descendants with a firm and, at the same time, kind, bright look, as if asking: “Is another challenge thrown to the victorious people?” And here we are talking about a spiritual, civilizational challenge. Each heir to the era of great deeds and accomplishments will have to look inside himself, turn to his heart and let go of everything alien, evil, destructive, intolerant. And the way to this victory - the victory of the spirit - was indicated to modern man in the last century by Eurasianism. Like readers, the guests of the evening walked through the pages of a historical book and suddenly realized that the sheet to be read today is clean. The denial of complexity, degradation, division into black and white are clear signs of the contagious effect of antisystems that each of those present observed in real life: a polar division of opinions, although there is a whole spectrum of them, or obsessive narratives about the simplicity of being, living for oneself, today, about the special role of a separate system and the idea of its superiority over others. This is what the struggle is going on with - with the infection of entire generations by imaginary, alien ideals, leading to self-destruction.

Aleksey Valeryevich voiced the very innermost questions that “our” person asks himself, who has absorbed so many cultural codes, ideas, traditions through the vicissitudes of history, but again and again trying to feel himself, his role in this huge civilization: “The legacy of Lev Nikolayevich and his living ideas allow us to understand who we are, where we came from, what we should do now and where we are going.” A special Eurasian recipe helps to overcome the obstacles that are encountered on the way in the process of answering these questions. It seems to be very banal and taken from children's fairy tales, where good triumphs over evil, but it is so forgotten by society that it sounds really magically inspiring. “There is only one way to defeat the anti-system: if inside you, in addition to passionarity, will, striving for victory, you also have a soul filled with light, love for representatives of other peoples, with whom you create a common Eurasia. An important issue raised by the political scientist is the self-awareness of peoples in the context of the many-sided history of our great state. Of course, the history of Russia and Russia, the Eastern Slavs, is inextricably linked with the Vikings, Byzantium, Rome, but do not forget that it is equally connected with the heritage of the East. In this combination lies the key to the Eurasian sense of self, inner strength. The origins of the spirit lie in the symbiosis of beauty, we were forced to forget it in order to weaken it. However, at the gene level, people feel their kinship, cultural, historical ties. Alexey Dzermant noted this more than once when communicating with representatives of different countries. “I see that Gumilyov's legacy lives on. Russian passionarity can develop in several cores, ”the political scientist shared in the process of telling about his travels across the vast expanses of Eurasia.
