While political Moscow is fighting for the creation of a single Eurasian space, a pair of mountain Jews - God Nisanov and Zarakh Iliyev - have long implemented this idea by integrating the capital's economy into their own empire. The foundation of its power is a trade monopoly.

Moscow turned into a Eurasian crossroads at the turn of the century - XX and XXI. This is a significant historical event: for the first time since the Mongol Empire, the largest state formation in the world history in Eurasia, this territory turned out to be a single economic space.

The success of the Mongol imperials was repeated by the three mountain Jews - Telman Ismailov, God Nisanov and Zarakh Iliyev. They are all from Azerbaijan. But this is a formal definition: in reality, the troika represents a small group of mountain Jews who once inhabited the Persian Empire, a powerful power that controlled the main trade routes from East to West in historical times.

Once upon a time, mountain Jews presented Judaism to the Khazar Khaganate, which also played an important role in the creation of the Eurasian trade network. But as a result, the highlanders of the Jewish faith managed to preserve their religious identity thanks to the patronage of the Russian Empire, on the territory of which they moved after the exodus from Persia. Most of the mountain Jews were repatriated to Israel back in Soviet times, but those who stayed did not waste time building communism, preferring to run their own business, despite the serious risk of such an entrepreneurship.

This bet turned out to be correct. And by the early 1990s, the group was fully ready to create its own trading empire. As a result, a real crossroads of trade routes from China, Iran, Afghanistan, as well as the former Soviet republics of Central Asia and Transcaucasia was created on the territory of Moscow. The place for this crossroads was the famous Cherkizovsky market, which occupied an area of more than 49 hectares. Most of this site was controlled by Telman Ismailov, and a smaller part by his junior partners Nisanov and Iliev.

Chinatown and its compradors

However, all these shares can be considered conditional. The main players on Cherkizon were Chinese comrades of the Caucasian "emperors". Out of 100 thousand people employed in the market, about 60 thousand turned out to be from the PRC.

As amended by the usual realities of the Chinese diaspora economy, such a "human" ratio also means the real balance of power of the so-called "stakeholders" - all persons interested in business development. The fact that Cherkizon was largely a Chinese enterprise is evidenced by the scale of commodity confiscations (the volume of smuggled products manufactured in China and prepared for sale on the market was estimated at $2 billion), and some "political unrest" in China itself.

Network Empire

The closure of Cherkizon, as it turned out, led not to the liquidation, but to the dispersion of the smuggled empire. And, ultimately, its increase.

Only the area of the first and most famous "process" of Cherkizon - the "Sadovod" market, was 40 hectares. But besides them, there is a wholesale market in Lublino, a trade and fair complex "Moscow" and other different names, but similar in essence large centers of "Eurasian integration". The main players there are all the same Chinese suppliers of consumer goods and wholesale resellers from the local.

But the main difference of the new empire was the appearance de facto of its own financial infrastructure, including production and its own cryptocurrency. The functions of the process moderators have also been transformed. As you know, Telman Ismailov dropped out of the top three managers. The criminal past of the era of the first Moscow cooperatives did not allow this pioneer of Eurasian capitalism to be taken into the future.

Imperial monopoly

Telman Ismailov's departure opened up completely new opportunities and prospects for the team of "heirs of the Persian Empire". The time of seizure and monopolization of the food supply market has begun. The firstborn on this path was the giant food market "Food City", which occupies a plot of 91 hectares on the Kaluga highway. Opened in 2014, Food City is the largest market in Europe, although officially it has a much more modern name - an agri-food cluster. Against its background, even Cherkizon may seem like a collective farm village. Moreover, food trade is a completely different level compared to consumer goods smuggling.

Thus, there is nothing surprising in the fact that this center, built by Chinese investors, was ultimately under the control of Zarakh Iliyev. He knows how to trade food at the largest city market. The new platform allowed to control 15% of the capital's food market. But this is not really a monopoly. The monopoly may come after the construction of the second similar center, and the Year of Nissan has already officially announced its appearance. A new wholesale food market should appear in Khimki, providing the northern front of food supplies. To do this, Nisanov prudently bought a plot of more than 40 hectares. The area of the new wholesale center will be more than 350 thousand square meters.

According to Nisanov's estimates, Food City is too busy, so it is necessary to distribute the tenant flows between these two facilities. In fact, we are talking about replacing the archaic form of wholesale trade with a modern model. And this is the main competitive advantage of the new Eurasian emperor. As the history of world business shows, the best monopoly is the one that relies on technological superiority. Moreover, it allows you to demonstrate your superiority as an achievement. And spend a lot of money (from part of the monopoly profit) on the creation of large-scale projects that already have a completely open imperial status. Like in the real capital of his empire.
