Nebius Group, headed by Yandex co-founder Arkady Volozh, is investing £200 million ($270 million) in data centers for artificial intelligence in the UK, The Telegraph reported.
The company plans to invest in the creation of an "AI factory" by installing 4,000 Nvidia Blackwell GPUs. Deliveries will begin in the fourth quarter of 2025.
"The UK is a place where AI is created, tested and implemented in various industries - from fintech to natural sciences," Volozh said, adding that investments will allow Nebius to cooperate more closely with British startups and researchers.
Taking into account the UK, Nebius will manage seven AI clusters in six countries in Europe, the United States and the Middle East.
