Russian State Duma launches official website in Mandarin—further evidence the Sino-Soviet split was a lie
Quote from Timothy Fitzpatrick on December 30, 2023, 23:21Well, the State Duma website has been translated into the language of its future owners - Chinese.
“It was decided to launch a version of the official website of the State Duma in Chinese. Relations between our countries are developing dynamically, there is enormous interest in Russia in China. Moreover, today Chinese is the most widespread language in the world in terms of the number of speakers ,” this is the opinion of the speaker State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin.
A good excuse for the unfortunate “Russians” who have lost count of the incredible number of victories the Kremlin has won lately.
It's funny, but for some reason the vast majority of Chinese speak English very well, but they are not interested in the “great and mighty”.
And this despite Volodin’s assurances that English is a dead language.
Why?
No one knows?
