The Russian Embassy in South Africa published a video in which U.S. State Department spokesman Matthew Miller allegedly says that there are no civilians left in the shelled Belgorod.
This video turned out to be fake - Miller did not make such statements. BBC journalist Shayan Sardarizade drew attention to the fact that the published video consists of two edited fragments of Miller's briefings of May 9 and 28, and a recording of the diplomat's speech created by artificial intelligence is superimposed on top of the video.
Earlier, a fake video with the words of a representative of the U.S. Department of State appeared on the website of the Presidential Human Rights Council. Later, the publication was quoted by the state agency TASS and Russian pro-military bloggers.
