On September 11, 2001, the American nation and the entire world community were shocked by the tragic events in New York

The official version of what happened was that two Boeings belonging to American Airlines were captured by Arab terrorists and sent within minutes of each other to the twin high-rise buildings of the New York shopping center. After some time, both buildings collapsed. More than 3,000 people died under their rubble. The Pentagon building in Washington became the victim of the third killer plane. The fourth Boeing, whose passengers allegedly tried to neutralize the terrorists, lost control and crashed near Shanksville (Pennsylvania), before reaching the intended target - the White House or the US Congress.

 

The American administration stated that the organizers of this heinous crime were Osama bin Laden and his al-Qaeda organization. Islamic terrorism has come to be considered the main enemy of US national security. The date of November 11, 2001 was declared a turning point in American politics and military strategy and almost a turning point in the development of humanity, which had become a hostage to “international terrorism.” In the wake of the indignation that flared up in American society over the tragic atrocity against America, which had never before seen attacks from outside, American retribution soon followed - an attack on Afghanistan, where the nest of terrorists led by bin Laden was allegedly located.

 

However, when passions calmed down somewhat and the time came for a calm analysis of the circumstances surrounding September 11, the official version of what happened raised many puzzling questions and doubts among a number of analysts. Their opinions were reflected in the press and in dozens of books published in the USA, Germany, France, Austria and other countries.

At the University of Berlin. Humboldt on June 30, 2003, a wide discussion was held on the topic “Staged terrorism. The 9/11 Conspiracy." Prominent political and public figures and German journalists spoke to 800 listeners. Among them is former minister Andreas von Bülow, a specialist in the field of secret services, who oversaw the Bundestag from 1989 to 1994. activities of German intelligence, correspondents of West German Radio (WDR) Gerhard Wisniewski and Ekkehard Sicker, correspondents of Frankfurter Rundschau Ekard Spo, Tageszeitung Matthias Brekers and others. The discussion caused a great resonance in Germany and other countries. Its progress was covered in the press organ of the Bundestag, Das Parliament.

All participants in the discussion expressed their disagreement with the official version of the Bush administration and qualified it as a deception of public opinion. To thunderous applause from those gathered, Breckers said that nothing less than the “fate of humanity” depended on revealing the full truth about the events of September 11, meaning that the tragedy in New York and Washington served as the main justification and starting point for American global expansion carried out under under the pretext of fighting “international terrorism” and threatening international peace and security.

The discussion highlighted the fact that, as evidenced by American archival documents that became available to researchers, in 1962 the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Armed Forces developed a special “Operation Northwoods”. Its scenario was as follows: the CIA, in deep secrecy, staged a sensational terrorist attack directed against America, and the blame for this was placed on the Cuban leadership of Fidel Castro. According to the plan, a passenger plane, making a charter flight with American tourists (and in fact with CIA agents) on board, secretly lands shortly after takeoff. Instead, an empty plane, controlled from the ground, takes off into the air and heads for Jamaica, Panama or Venezuela. Flying over Cuban territorial waters, he sends a radio message on an international wave that he was attacked by MiG fighters. Following this, a radio signal from the United States triggers a bomb planted on the plane, and it crashes into the sea. A noisy propaganda campaign is being launched about the unprovoked attack by Cuban fighters on a US civilian aircraft and the death of a large number of American tourists. In the United States there is an explosion of indignation. Taking advantage of this, the American armed forces launch an attack on Cuba... The full text of the “Operation Northwoods” plan is printed in the appendix to Wisniewski’s book “Operation 11/9. Attack on the globe."

But this Pentagon plan never came to fruition, as President John Kennedy banned it. Gerhard Wisniewski expressed the opinion in the discussion that under President Bush Jr. it was not difficult for the US secret services to stage the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 using approximately the same scenario. Wisniewski’s film “The Question of September 11 Remains Open” was broadcast in July 2003 by German television on the VDR and Phoenix channels. The author, who visited Shanksville shortly after the terrorist attacks in search of the wreckage of a fallen plane, claims that there was no fourth plane at all. The crater, according to the official version, left by the supposedly crashed plane, looked like the result of an explosion on the ground. In it, Wisniewski did not find any traces of the crashed plane. He posted a photo of the crater with the caption: “Would you believe that the entire Boeing 757 disappeared into this hole?” Only 6 years later (!), in April 2006, an official announcement was made in the United States that at the site of the plane crash in Shanksville (Pennsylvania) a black box was allegedly found with a recording of the pilots’ conversations, but the list of passengers on this plane was “according to ethical considerations" was not published.

Regarding the terrorist attack in Washington, the speakers found it extremely surprising that neither photographs nor videos of the wreckage of the plane that crashed into the Pentagon were made available to the public. In their opinion, aerial photographs of the Pentagon did not confirm that a Boeing crashed into the building. The examination suggested rather that it was a missile or bomb fired from a military aircraft. It should be borne in mind that no building in the world is guarded as carefully as the Pentagon, which has its own early warning system and missile defense.

Mention was also made of the fact that the public was not provided with either recordings of conversations between the crews of the killer planes captured by terrorists, or the results of deciphering their black boxes. The general consensus was that the September 11 attacks were staged by the US Secret Service. Journalist Michael Opperskalski expressed his belief that there is no “al-Qaeda terrorist network” and that the “threat of Islamic terrorism” is nothing more than an image of the enemy “constructed by Western secret services.”

The views of intelligence experts on the events of September 11 are interesting. Horst Ehmke, who coordinated the activities of the German secret services under Willy Brandt, believed that terrorists could not have hijacked four planes at once without the knowledge of the CIA. His colleague Andreas von Bülow believed that the Israeli intelligence service MOSSAD was also involved in the September 11 attacks. For her, as for the White House, it was important to create a powerful impulse to turn American public opinion in favor of war against the Arabs. In his book “The CIA and September 11. International terror and the role of the secret services" Bülow notes: "Terrorist operations to influence public opinion are commonplace for the CIA. The list of CIA-inspired murders is long.”

The authors of numerous publications on September 11 have raised many questions for the Bush administration that remain unanswered to this day. For example:

* Why did the US Congress not immediately create a commission to investigate the circumstances of the incident and hold hearings on this extraordinary event? The decision to create such a commission was made only two years later, when all evidence that could shed light on the mystery of the entire case had been carefully removed. Henry Kissinger was offered to head the commission, but he refused. Why?

* Why was there not a single Arab name in the lists of passengers on the killer planes published by CNN and posted on the Internet on the same day, September 11? And on the third day after the terrorist attack, the FBI will publish a list of 19 Arab terrorists who took part in this unprecedented operation. And 10 of them, as it soon became clear, were alive...

* Why were journalists practically prohibited from independently investigating the case and were allowed to film the ruins of skyscrapers only from one specified location?

* Why were only the FBI and the private firm Controlled Demolition Inc. given the exclusive right to collect facts and evidence to solve this crime of the century? (“Controlled Destruction Corporation”), as well as the engineering and fire department?

* Why was the “Controlled Destruction Corporation”, which had special materials and equipment, including laser, for the vertical demolition of high-rise buildings, so as not to endanger neighboring buildings, was the first on the scene of a criminal action and received a large sum of money for “dismantling the rubble” ?

* Why did both 110-story buildings, supported to their full height from the inside by a strong steel frame, collapse from airplane strikes vertically, onto their foundations, as if their “controlled destruction” had been carried out, although the architects and engineers who built them guaranteed that both skyscrapers were designed so that they could withstand attacks from large aircraft?

* How could this frame be destroyed along its entire length if the melting point of steel is about 1300 degrees, and the burnout temperature of aviation fuel is 800 degrees Celsius? The vertical sliding of the towers down would be possible if cylinders with a substance that quickly destroys the metal were installed along their frames, or as a result of directed explosions. It should be taken into account that the fuel of the first killer plane, which crashed into the center of the first tower, was almost entirely inside the building, while the fuel of the second plane, which hit the corner of the second high-rise, spilled out. The fire that broke out in it practically stopped after three quarters of an hour. Why did it nevertheless collapse?

* How can we explain the total destruction of the steel frames of both towers? There weren't even skeletons left of them. According to experts, this could not be a consequence of targeted aircraft strikes.

* Why, as the NYPD stated, were all the remains of the collapsed metal immediately sent as scrap metal to be melted down? This made it impossible to conduct an investigation. The New York Governor's Office declined to respond to a written request from The New York Times about who issued the order.

* Why did the destruction of the towers begin according to a single pattern from the very top, and not from the floors damaged by planes? Why did they collapse so quickly, just an hour after the top floors of one of the skyscrapers caught fire?

* Why did authorities refuse to comment on the testimony of numerous witnesses and firefighters that they heard multiple explosions inside both towers just before they began to fall? Were these explosions the immediate cause of the tragedy? Was the use of airplanes just a diversionary maneuver?

* Were the planes guided from the ground using the US-developed Global Hawk system, as many Western experts suspect?

* Doesn't it seem strange that neither the mythical bin Laden nor any other Arab terrorist claimed responsibility for this terrorist act? Two weeks after the attack, a video was broadcast on American television in which bin Laden allegedly expressed his satisfaction over what had happened, but, according to experts, this recording is very similar to a montage.

* It is noteworthy that the American company Silverstein and the Israeli company Lovi insured both buildings of the shopping center for more than $3 billion six weeks before the tragic events. This amount exceeds the amount that went into the construction of both towers. The total volume of insurance payments as a result of the terrorist attack amounted to a record amount of $70 billion.

To summarize, the American author Eric Hufschmid wrote in his book: “What happened on September 11 is not the final act, but a prologue to further incredible events and lies that will not be so easy to unravel.”

The American authorities refrained from making any comments about the arguments of the “skeptics.” President George W. Bush limited himself to a brief statement: “We must tell the truth about terror. We will never tolerate brazen conspiracy theories and malicious lies in connection with the 9/11 attacks. They are pursuing the goal of diverting attention from the terrorists.” But the report of the Congressional commission on the investigation of the circumstances and perpetrators of the terrorist attack (“The 9/11 Commission Report. Final Report of the National Commission on terrorist attacks upon the United States”, 2004) did not answer the specific questions posed by political, scientific and public circles in the West.

In October 2007, a letter was published from 160 US scientists and specialists, in which they rejected the official interpretation of the September 11 terrorist attack and accused the US secret services of carrying out this terrorist attack. In 2009, Yukihisa Fuyita, Chairman of the Foreign and Defense Policy Committee of the Japanese Diet, published the book “September 11 in Question – Discussion in the Japanese Diet. Can Obama Change the USA? Its co-authors were American professor David Griffin and a number of Japanese politicians. In 2008 and 2009 At a hearing in the Japanese Diet, he questioned the official version of the events of September 11. In April 2008, he, together with Member of the European Parliament Juliet Chiesa, former Minister of Defense of Canada Paul Hellyer, Member of the Canadian Parliament Libby Davis, American politicians Mike Gravel, Ralph Nader and Cynthia McKinley, Senator from Arizona Karen Johnson and a number of representatives of the American public demanded that American authorities to conduct a new investigation into the September 11 terrorist attack, since it served as a justification for the wars against Iraq and Afghanistan and the implementation of “repressive domestic political measures.”

When you begin to think about the circumstances of the September 11 terrorist attack, historical associations involuntarily arise with the practice of organizing sensational provocations and secret operations by the American ruling elite and its intelligence services in order to justify wars against a particular state or the overthrow of unwanted governments. Here even a certain stamp can be traced in their actions. It is enough to recall the staged sinking of the American frigate Maine in 1898 to create a pretext for the US war against Spain, or the similarly staged sinking of the Lusitania in 1915 to justify the United States' entry into the First World War. A similar practice includes the tragedy of Pearl Harbor in 1941, the secret of which was kept under seven seals for decades. And the mystery of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy? It remains unsolved. The organizers of the murder still remain in the shadows. And several dozen witnesses who could help solve the mystery of the murder were sent to the next world one after another, even in front of an astonished public.

When conducting secret operations, as well as military actions, Washington did not really take human casualties into account. A sad symbol of this was the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, which claimed more than 250,000 lives. There was no need for these bombings: the White House simply needed to frighten the whole world with the atomic power of the United States.

As the facts show, even after September 11, secret provocations and sophisticated deception of the public by the US leadership and intelligence services did not stop. To go to war against Iraq, Bush misled his fellow citizens, the UN and the rest of the world by declaring that Saddam Hussein was involved in the 9/11 attack, possessed weapons of mass destruction, was dangerous to the world and must be eliminated by military force. All these arguments turned out to be false. If the White House was eager to find and neutralize weapons of mass destruction in the states of the Near and Middle East, it should pay attention first of all to Israel. It was he who, using material and technical assistance from the United States, became the only nuclear power in this region. At his disposal, according to the Swiss press, already in the mid-90s there were 250 nuclear charges and their carriers. But neither the United States nor Israel then took into account the fact that they had flagrantly violated the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.

After September 11, 2001, the basis of US policy and strategy was the thesis of the need for a large-scale fight against the global threat of “international terrorism.” Therefore, logically, the White House is interested in ensuring that as many terrorist acts as possible occur in the world and that the international community is in constant tension and fear.
