PCR tests mandatory for participants at Russian-led Eastern Economic Forum

VLADIVOSTOK, 30 August. /TASS/. Measures to combat coronavirus within the framework of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) have been maintained, all participants of the event and technical staff will undergo mandatory PCR testing. This was reported to TASS by the governor of Primorye Oleg Kozhemyako."As for the anti-covid measures, they remain. All forum participants, media representatives and technical staff will have to undergo PCR testing, vaccinations are not required. For testing, points will be deployed on the FEFU campus and laboratory building, at the airport and the most popular with our guests at the Azimut and Lotte hotels, as well as in the building of the regional government. Participants from other cities will be able to take an analysis at the airports of Moscow and St. Petersburg," Kozhemyako said.
He noted that most of the points will work from early morning until late evening. Without a negative PCR test result from a laboratory accredited by Rospotrebnadzor, name badges will not be activated. Participants of the plenary session will submit additional analysis. Organizations that can provide premises for the deployment of observators in the Artemovsky and Vladivostok urban districts have also been identified - these are the Avia Hotel and the Far Eastern Recreation Center Ritm-10.
The WEF will be held in Vladivostok on September 10-13, 2023 under the slogan "Towards Cooperation, Peace and Prosperity". The agenda will focus on cooperation with friendly countries, the export of Russian products to the markets of these countries, the integration of payment infrastructures, competition for investment and human capital, and technological development.
