In Volgograd, a criminal case was opened against a woman for desecrating the monument "The Motherland Calls!", the prosecutor's office of the Russian region reported.
The investigation into a 23-year-old resident of Samara was taken under control by the department.
“The woman is suspected of committing a crime under Part 1 of Art. 244 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Desecration of burial sites”),” the prosecutor’s office said in a statement.
It is noted that the figurant committed cynicism, disregarding the norms of morality, the video of which was subsequently posted on the Internet.
According to RIA Novosti , frames appeared on the network in which a woman shoots a video from such an angle, as if she touches the chest of the monument with her finger and sings a cheerful melody.
Earlier it became known that in Syktyvkar a 26-year-old local resident will appear before the court, who extinguished the flame of the Eternal Flame at the Eternal Glory memorial in honor of the Syktyvkar soldiers who fell during the Great Patriotic War.
