An entrepreneur from Kamchatka faces a term for justifying the Holocaust
Investigators of the Kamchatka Territory have completed the investigation of the case against a businessman accused of public approval of the Holocaust. This is reported by the press service of the regional department of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
"It is known that from December 2023 to April 2024, a 40-year-old man posted comments in the messenger that contained a positive assessment of violent actions against Jews during World War II. Since posting comments, they have become available to a wide number of social network users," the department's telegram channel reports.
It is noted that all case materials were transferred to the prosecutor for approval of the indictment. After that, the materials will be sent to the court. The entrepreneur faces a fine of 2 to 5 million rubles or imprisonment for up to five years.
